Clearfield PD are investigating after a 39-year-old man was stabbed during an alleged attempted break-in Wednesday night on the 600 block of Daisy Street.
Investigators discovered that the man, whose identity has not been disclosed, attempted to break into the home and reportedly threatened one of its residents, leading to a struggle in which he was stabbed with a pocketknife.
He fled the scene and was later taken by private vehicle to Penn Highlands Clearfield for treatment of internal injuries.
