Indiana Borough’s fall limb collection is scheduled this week and the leaf collection will be next week.
Starting on Monday, limbs and branches of less than six inches in diameter will be collected and put through the chipper. They must be stacked neatly at curbside, not on the street, with cut ends facing in the same direction.
Starting on October 27th, leaves will be collected. They must be raked in piles between the curb and the sidewalk and not bagged. They must not be near fire hydrants, poles, and parked cars.
Other yard clippings, sticks, and garden refuse must be taken to the county recycling center. That’s also where the leaves will end up, for composting.
