Indiana County firefighters responded to the 79th brush fire call of the year.
That fire was reported in Armstrong County, as Iselin/West Lebanon firefighters were sent in to help other firefighters with a call along Route 156 at 3:25 PM.
Three vehicle accidents were also reported over the last 24 hours. The first was on Oakland Avenue at 3:26 PM. Indiana Firefighters, State Police and Citizen’s Ambulance were dispatched for that call. The second crash brought out the Iselin/West Lebanon fire department to assist with the crash on Route 156 at 6:49 PM. The final crash was just after midnight this morning on Route 553 in Cherryhill Township. Cherryhill and Pine Township and Clymer fire departments were sent out.
Details on the incidents have not been released.
