A Punxsutawney man is facing charges after allegedly sending a woman a series of obscene and threatening messages over several months.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, 33-year-old Devin Jordan Young was charged with misdemeanor harassment on October 10 after the victim provided officers with copies of the messages, which included multiple insults and statements urging her to harm herself. The woman told police the harassment caused her emotional distress, though she has since sought support.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 22 before Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline Mizerock.
