Tuesday night, the White Township Planning Commission met and briefly discussed the Rustic Lodge property on Oakland Avenue.

Property owner Joe Lubold earlier this month submitted a draft sketch plan for the future use of the property. Code enforcement officer Jon Major stressed that these plans are very preliminary.
Parking lots would also go around the proposed commercial property, with the potential residential area to the south of the property. While what could go into the commercial properties is not quite known, the plan will be brought up for further review next month.
In other business, a final minor subdivision and non-building waiver was approved for just over an acre at the St. Bernard Church property on Clairvaux Drive. The area is expected to be used for parking.
