The Penguins are in Anaheim tonight to face off against the Ducks. Kris Letang was on the ice for practice yesterday, but he was not wearing a white non-contact jersey. Instead, he wore a yellow, extra-defenseman jersey and he worked on his off-side. Matt Dumba wore the black jersey, perhaps signaling that he will be on the ice tonight. Letang switched to a black jersey for power play work. Coach Dan Muse said his status for tonight will be determined after consulting with Letang and team doctors.
Muse said Anaheim has a good mix of young players and veterans, much like the Penguins.
The Penguins’ two teenagers, Ben Kindel and Harrison Brunicke, both scored their first NHL goals in back-to-back games. Muse says the pair are fitting nicely into the NHL game.
Faceoff tonight is at 10:30. The airtime is 9:30 on 92.5 FM U92.
