The “No Kings” protests are returning to several communities in Western Pennsylvania later this week.
Organizers of the grassroots movement are planning to rally in opposition of the ongoing federal government shutdown. The first round of “No Kings” protests happened in June in an effort to push back against the military parade for President Trump’s birthday and his administration’s immigration crackdown.
Demonstrations are planned for this Saturday at Point State Park and Pittsburgh’s City-County Building, along with many other communities in the region.
