WOMAN’S BODY RECOVERED FROM MONONGAHELA RIVER

Authorities are investigating after a woman’s body was recovered from the Mon River.

Officers were dispatched to a scene along Waterfront Drive in Homestead on Saturday and crews pulled the body from the water.

There has been no word on the woman’s identity or cause of death.
