State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating a wire fraud case in Jefferson County after an 81-year-old Young Township man lost nearly $35,000.
Troopers say multiple fraudulent transactions totaling $34,769.89 were made from the victim’s bank account between September 3 and September 22.
The investigation remains ongoing.
