An Armstrong County man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting two state police officers.
The incident occurred Thursday when troopers attempted to serve a mental health warrant on Apollo resident Christopher Ackles.
According to reports, Ackles resisted and injured the officers during the altercation. He is now charged with multiple offenses, including Aggravated Assault and Disarming a Law Enforcement Officer.
