River Valley’s school board meets tonight with a number of personnel items on the agenda.
This includes the hiring of a science teacher, an autism support teacher, and a music teacher. The board will also consider the hiring of several varsity head coaches, assistants, and volunteers, including head coaches for track & field and softball, plus junior high coaches.
The board will also consider joining the ARIN IU28 STEAM lending library consortium for this school year and a memorandum of understanding with PA Distance Learning Charter School for this school year for the charter school’s students to take part in the STEAM academy.
The meeting will be held tonight at 7:00 at the STEAM academy on the Saltsburg Campus.
