Indiana County’s District Court schedule includes a hearing for a person charged in connection with a domestic incident in July 31st.
Court documents show 42-year-old Christopher Schleicher faces charges of strangulation, simple assault and four counts of harassment for the incident on July 31st. State police say he and his 16-year-old son were involved in a fight when he put the boy in a chokehold, hit a 13-year-old girl in the head, grabbed a 17-year-old boy and pushed him around, and then pushing an 18-year-old woman back into a vehicle. Schleicher was taken into custody the following morning. His preliminary hearing will be held this morning before District Judge Christopher Welch.
Also due for a preliminary hearing today is 42-year-old Gregory Fisher Jr. of Marion Center. Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi said that he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor on several occasions over the summer of 2024. Fisher is charged with aggravated indecent assault of someone under 16, child endangerment, corruption of minors, indecent assault, indecent assault of someone under 16, and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
