Additional charges have been filed against a Ford City woman after authorities discovered the remains of another infant inside her former residence.
Jessica Mauthe, 39, was recently evicted from a home on Oak Lane in Armstrong County. When the landlord began cleaning out the property last weekend, they found one set of remains in a closet and two more sets in the attic. Mauthe was arrested and charged with offenses including criminal homicide. On Thursday, State Police confirmed the discovery of a fourth set of remains.
The Indiana County Coroner’s Office is performing autopsies on the infant remains.
