A man is facing charges after a house explosion that killed his daughter.
On Sunday, 46-year-old Brian Shelleby of Castle Shannon in Allegheny County allegedly spread gasoline inside a home on Corbett Street following an argument with his estranged wife, who had told him he could no longer live there. Moments later, the house erupted in flames, killing the couple’s 19-year-old daughter, Lakyn Shelleby.
The suspect’s estranged wife and a firefighter were also injured in the fire.
Brian Shelleby has been arrested and is facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide and aggravated arson.
