Indiana Borough Police have filed charges against a Beyer man for carrying a firearm illegally.
Police say on August 19th, they conducted a traffic stop in the “00” block of South 5th Street for a summary offense against 21-year-old Tyler Pecany. Police found a firearm in the car that Pecany was not licensed to have. He was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
The charges were filed with District Judge Tony Sottile’s office.
