A suspect has still not been taken into custody in connection with the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Kirk died after being shot in the neck while speaking at a Turning Point event at Utah Valley University yesterday. Officials said they have been able to track the movements of the shooter on campus and they also believe they have recovered the weapon used. They are not releasing footage of the individual at this time as they work to identify them.
Vice President JD Vance will be in Utah today to visit with the Kirk family.
