The Penguins’ young prospects will practice this morning at 10:30 in Cranberry before they leave for Buffalo for the start tomorrow of the Buffalo Sabres’ Prospect Challenge. Top prospects skating for the Pens include this year’s top draft choice, forward Ben Kindel, former number one pick defenseman Owen Pickering, forwards Tristan Broz and Ville Koivunen, defenseman Harrison Brunicke, and goaltender Sergei Murashov.
Two other first round picks, forwards Rutger McGroarty and Bill Zonnon, will miss the Challenge with undisclosed injuries.
First game for the Pens will be against the Bruins’ prospects at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon.
