At their meeting on Wednesday, the White Township supervisors approved the sale of a street sweeper.
The supervisors approved selling a 2016 Freightliner/Schwarze A7 Tornado Street Sweeper. Township Manager Chris Anderson says that once a piece of equipment is about ten years of age, it’s time to look into a replacement.
He says that they will invest in a new model of sweeper that would be more efficient for the infrastructure that is in the township.
The old sweeper sold for $20,600, which Anderson says will go into a general fund.
The supervisors also approved the Trick or Treating schedule for Halloween this year. It will be held on Halloween Day, October 31st from 6-8 p.m.
