A 45-year-old man was arrested after allegedly traveling to Jefferson County to meet who he thought was a 15-year-old girl for sex.
Ryan Starck of State College was taken into custody Sept. 8 at a Brookville gas station following a sting by Brookville Borough Police and 814 Pred Hunters. Police say Starck continued sexual conversations with a decoy who identified herself as underage and told her to keep their relationship secret.
Starck reportedly admitted to knowing the girl was a minor.
He is being held in Jefferson Jail facing multiple felony charges. His preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 11.
