With the conclusion Saturday night of the Ox Hill Fair, the final fair of the season in Indiana County gets underway tonight. The 108th Green Township Community Fair, also known as the Cookport Fair, begins with a worship service at 7 PM tonight, featuring Pastor Greg McDonald of the Good Ridge Church of God and the Cookport Community Choir.
The fair continues all week with nightly events on the two tracks and two stages, plus exhibits and traditional fair fun. Admission is six dollars and parking is free at the fair, along Route 240 in Green Township.
