On top of the two fatal crashes, Indiana County’s first responders were busy with a third crash and other reports.
Two of those calls required a response from Commodore Fire Department. The first was a utility lines down call at 12:45 PM on Route 286 in Montgomery Township. The second was a crash on Greenwich Road in Green Township at 4:52 PM. Details on the crash have not been released.
Pine Township and Cherryhill Township firefighters were sent out at 2:10 PM for a vehicle fire on Route 422 East in Pine Township.
Utility lines were also reported down on Raccoon Road in Loyalhanna Township in Westmoreland County at 4:38 PM. Saltsburg and Tunnelton fire departments were sent out at the time.
