A Pittsburgh man is accused in Indiana Borough for the death of a man in August of last year.
Indiana Borough Police say 39-year-old Victor Marcinik was charged with involuntary manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in connection with an incident on August 20th, 2024. Officers were called to the 1000 block of Church Street for a report of a man suffering cardiac arrest. Although lifesaving measures were taken, the un-named 43-year-old man did not survive. Since then, Indiana Borough Detectives discovered that the heart attack was triggered by drugs provided by Marcinik. He was arrested in Monroeville and was taken to Indiana County Jail, with bail set at $20,000.
A preliminary hearing is set for next Thursday at 9:00 AM in front of District Judge Robert Bell, Sr.
