Criminal call hearings are scheduled today for Indiana County Court, including one for a man charged with drug-related crimes from 2019.
Court documents show 43-year-old Troy Bingaman of Coalport in Clearfield County is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, misbranding a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and two summary driving charges for an incident on August 15th of that year. He was pulled over by police in Clymer and officers found in his car a backpack with 20 bags of suspected heroin, Klonopin pills, a cell phone, a meth pipe, a digital scale and an “owe sheet” along with other drug-related items.
A woman from Northern Cambria was in the car with him and she said that she also had drug paraphernalia items on her.
Criminal Call is designed to update the court and the parties involved on the progress of a case. Proceedings are usually postponed to a later date, but on occasion, guilty pleas have been entered at the Criminal Call phase.
