PA FIRST-TIME UNEMPLOYMENT FILINGS DOWN

First time filings for unemployment are decreasing across Pennsylvania.

That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending August 30th, there were more than 86-hundred first time filings in the state. That number is down by more than 600 filings compared to the week prior.

Nationally, the number of initial filings increased for the week.
