Multiple firefighters are hospitalized after being injured while battling a fire in Pittsburgh.
Around 9 a.m. Thursday morning, four firefighters were injured when their ladder hit a power line while they are battling a blaze on Monastery Avenue in the South Side Slopes. The incident commander reported that upon arriving Thursday morning, crews encountered a major fire on the third floor. While injured firefighters received medical attention, the remaining responders pressed on to fight the blaze.
There has been no word on the extent of their injuries.
