Preliminary hearings are on the schedule today in Indiana County’s district courts, including one for a man charged in connection with an incident last month.
Police say they were sent out on August 13th to a home in the 1500 block of Water Street for a domestic disturbance and found 34-year-old Adam Foreman and a woman. Officers determined that he was the aggressor and injured the woman. He faces charges of simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness.
Another case scheduled for a preliminary hearing is for 58-year-old Joseph Zemba of Blairsville, who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman as she was passed out at an apartment in Burrell Township. The victim then heard a rumor about Zemba sharing indecent photos of her, and they found on her Google Nest account a video of him having sexual relations with her. Zemba admitted to the sex acts but claimed he did not know she was unconscious. He faces charges of aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault.
