A Parker woman is facing charges of DUI and child endangerment after allegedly crashing her SUV while a young child was inside. According to State Police, 37-year-old Tiffany L. Ditty drove off Route 368 in Perry Township on July 8, with her vehicle coming to rest on an embankment near a creek. The child was unharmed and released to family members.
Troopers reported that Ditty appeared impaired, admitted to using Suboxone and Subutex, failed field sobriety tests, and refused a blood draw. Authorities also said a straw containing drug residue was found in her pocket. She now faces multiple traffic, drug, and disorderly conduct charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 9 before Judge Jeffrey C. Miller.
