A man charged with the indecent assault of a child is due in Indiana County Court for a plea court hearing.
Court documents show that the trial for 50-year-old Brian James Barr of Commodore is scheduled to start on October 20th. He faces charges of corruption of minors, indecent assault of someone under 13 and indecent exposure for an investigation into incidents that started in January of 2014. An investigation started in July of 2022.
Also due today in the county court of common pleas is 56-year-old Kevin McCoy of Latrobe. He is charged with criminal use of a communication facility and child pornography possession for an incident in February of 2024. He will go before Indiana County Judge Michael Clark for a sentencing hearing.
