Monday night, the Center Township Supervisors warned people about dumpsters being left in the streets.
Many homes are undergoing repairs from the hailstorm earlier this year, and there have been reports of some of the large dumpsters blocking roads throughout the township. Supervisors Chairman Matt Housholder said he believes that there may not be a place for them on the property.
He recommended that if the dumpster needs to be out in the street, either cones or some reflective material needs to be there so people can see it.
In other business, the supervisors approved advertising an ordinance to name an alley in Yankeetown Don Luscia Alley in honor of a Korean War Veteran. It will be up for final approval next month.
