Patricia Helen Zele, 86, of Brush Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at home, on Friday, August 29, 2025.
She was born on April 2, 1939, in Indiana, to the late C. Edward and Olive (Craig) Stuchell. Pat graduated from Indiana High School in 1956. She was the owner operator of Zele’s Personal Care home for 30 plus years until her retirement.
Pat was an avid reader, she enjoyed flowers, family get togethers, especially spending time with her grandson.
Pat is survived by her children, Jeffrey C. (Tammy) Zele, of Indiana, son Terry Eugene (Betty), of Marion Center, son Christopher Zele of Brush Valley, grandson Joseph Anthony Zele of Mars, sisters Betty Stancombe and Judy (Gerard) Spiotta, numerous nieces and nephews, her furry companion Sheba, and life-long friends Doris (Ed) Sherwin, and Jean Gromley.
Besides her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Zele in 2017, a son Richard Anthony Zele, brothers Anderson Stuchell, Reverend Walter A. Stuchell, and C. Edward Stuchell, Jr, as well as two nephews Robert E. Stuchell and Anderson M. Stuchell, Jr.
Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, as well as on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
