Today is Labor Day, which is set aside to honor workers throughout the country. As it is a federal holiday, there are several closures in place.
Federal, state and local government offices are closed today, including PA Driver’s License and photo centers. State Liquor stores normally open on a Monday will open at their normal time but will close at 5:00 PM.
There will be no IndiGo buses as the transit authority will be closed for today. Buses will be back on the roads tomorrow.
Many banks are closed, but most will still offer service through their website, apps and ATMs. US Post offices are also closed today. There will be no regular mail delivery for USPS, UPS or Fed Ex.
Garbage haulers are also taking the day off. Depending on the company you use, your pickup this week may be delayed by a day.
