The Pitt Panthers and Duquesne will face off in the season opener at Acrisure stadium this afternoon in a football version of “The City Game”.
Earlier this week, Pitt Coach Pat Narduzzi said the starters will play, but depending on how things play out, he may send out some of the backups to see if they are worthy of a starting position or a backup role on the team. While Narduzzi wants a win, he is calling this game the “final audition.”
