Indiana High coach Mark Zilinskas got one good half from his football team last week. He’s hoping the Indians put it together tonight for all four quarters.
Freeport scored 28 points in the third quarter of the season opener, including an 87-yard kickoff return to start the second half, to beat Indiana, 28-0.
Tonight, Zilinskas takes his football team to Ringgold, which lost to South Allegheny, 33-21, to open their season. The coach knows his defense has to contain scrambling Rams quarterback Amoni Ward.
