Altoona lost a second straight game to Harrisburg, 10-4, and fell into a tie with Richmond in the race for the the second-half crown in the Southwest Division of Eastern League. Esmerlyn Valdez was 3-for-4 with a single, double, and homer for the Curve.
Emmanuel Chapman is the scheduled starter tonight for Altoona. He was originally announced as the starter for last night, but Po-Yu Chen started instead.
The Curve will host Richmond for six games next week.
