BOYS GOLF
Indiana upped its record to 8-2, 4-1 in the Section with a 15-stroke win over Kiski at Willowbrook. The two teams came into the match tied for second in the Section. Medalist Chace Force was outstanding, firing a one-under 35. Austin Schawl shot one-over 37, Drew Brocious 40, Beau Raykes 41, and Ryan Bell 46. Indiana will play Ligonier Valley in a non-Section match at Champion Lakes today.
Homer-Center defeated Kiski Prep and Summit Academy in a tri-match at the Ligonier Country Club. The Wildcats fired a team total of 217, seven strokes better than Kiski Prep and 96 strokes ahead of Summit. Brayden Rado was the match medalist with a 39, with Jordy Arone one stroke back and Aiden Darr two back. Ty Steffey shot 47 and Cole Sorber 50. Homer-Center plays at Altoona today against Bishop Guilfoyle.
GIRLS GOLF
River Valley is 7-0 after outscoring Northern Cambria by 56 strokes at Chestnut Ridge. The Panthers played their best round of the season, led by medalist Ashley Pynos with a 42. Alessia Lamantia, Maren Dunlap, and Madigan Dunlap also all shot in the forties.
