Wednesday night, the White Township Supervisors formally approved the one-year agreement with Citizens’ Ambulance.
The township will pay a service fee of $399,975 for 2026. Supervisor Sandi Gillette said in prior years, the agreement was that the township would pay a set amount of money to Citizens’. The big difference now is that this agreement is more detailed.
Citizens’ Ambulance Executive Board member Rob Wallbeck called the agreement monumental and hopes that it starts a trend with other townships.
In other business, the supervisors scheduled a budget workshop for September 22nd at 1:00 PM. Township manager Chris Anderson anticipates this will be the first of many such meetings. The budget is due by the end of the year.
