BOYS GOLF
Indiana picked up a 14-stroke Section win over Norwin yesterday at Indiana Country Club. Chace Force was medalist with a two-over 38, with Drew Brocious a stroke behind. Ryan Bell, Will Steve, and Beau Raykes all shot 40 and Austin Schawl a 41. Indiana is 7-2 overall, 3-1 in the Section.
In a Heritage Conference golf match, Conemaugh Township downed Homer-Center by eighteen strokes. Brayden Rado led the Wildcats with a 40. Also shooting in the forties were Jordy Arone (42) and Aiden Darr (47). The medalist was Conemaugh Township’s Logan Serenko with a 37 at Oakbrook Golf Club. Ben Steinbeck shot a 38, Hayden Miller a 40, and Skylar McVicker a 49.
In another Heritage Conference match, the River Valley boys recorded their lowest team score for the year with a 206. They raised their record to 3-1 with the win over West Shamokin by a score of 206-209. Jeremy Reed had the low round for the Panthers with a 1 under 35.
GIRLS GOLF
Indiana’s girls golfers got their first win of the season, outscoring Kiski Area by seventeen strokes. Indiana’s Laken Kugler and Kiski’s Riley Musco shared medalist honors, both shooting 51. Indiana’s Lelise Allison, Julia Antonacci, and Angelina Donatelli all shot 52 at The Links at Spring Church.
