A man currently serving time on house arrest for a corruption of minors case had his parole revoked yesterday as he was also sentenced for a theft case.
Court documents show 45-year-old Ryan Spence was ordered to serve two months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and to pay fines and costs for a charge of retail theft in 2025. As part of that, his probation was revoked for the corruption of minors case and he was resentenced to eight months to a day less than two years in jail. After his release, he will serve two years of probation. State police received a report that Spencer placed his hands down the pants of a sleeping minor in the house he was staying at in November of 2022, and the child reported it to a parent immediately.
Also, a woman from Apollo was sentenced yesterday on several charges including child endangerment and aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence. Indiana County Judge Michael Clark ordered 36-year-old Connie Travato to 27 months to seven years in prison for the aforementioned charges along with DUI and operating a car without an interlock device.
