Mike Tomlin and the Steelers will be working on getting ready for a Thursday night game at Carolina this week, but the coach says they will not neglect the lessons they need to learn after Saturday’s disappointing 17-14 loss to Tampa Bay. Tomlin was peeved with the mental mistakes the Steelers made, especially the turnovers and penalties.
Especially galling to Tomlin was a key penalty that gave the Buccaneers another shot at a touchdown, which they turned into seven points instead of three.
The biggest injury concern after Saturday night was a chest injury suffered by long snapper Christian Kuntz, but Tomlin sounded optimistic discussing it after the game.
