An elementary school teacher who also coaches volleyball is being charged with rape, trafficking and sexual assault.
Pennsylvania State Police say Jared Lampus was arrested Friday in Buffalo Township, Butler County. Troopers said Lampus is a coach with the Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Association and a Buffalo Elementary teacher.
Police said Lampus had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old victim from 2023 to 2025. Troopers said that the relationship spanned multiple jurisdictions within Butler, Armstrong and Allegheny counties.
