First-time filings for unemployment are decreasing across Pennsylvania.
That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending August 9th, there were more than 9,600 first-time filings in the state. That number is down by more than 250 filings compared to the week prior.
Nationally, the number of initial filings declined for the week.
