Jacob Buckley, 22, of Port Matilda, is facing federal charges after allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump in TikTok posts days before Trump’s inauguration.
The DOJ said the threats included statements like “I’m going to kill Trump.”
Buckley faces up to five years in prison if convicted. The case is being handled by the Secret Service and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
