After a day where they racked up 13 hits, the Curve only needed one to win yesterday, and got it in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Hartford Yard goats 1-0.
Nick Cimillo hit the walk-off winner with the bases loaded to pickup the win. It’s his second walk-off winner and the sixth for the Curve this season. Curve starter Antwone Kelly tossed five scoreless innings, allowing the only two hits for the Yard Goats, walked two and struck out four. Valentin Linarez had two strong innings of relief, and Brandon Bidois struck out three in his two innings.
The six-game series continues tonight with Dominic Perachi starting for the curve tonight.
