The Steelers have the day off today at Training Camp in Latrobe, but that will give one Steeler a bit more time to heal up. After practice yesterday, Coach Mike Tomlin said that Alex Highsmith suffered an apparent groin injury of unknown severity during One-on-One drills. He will be evaluated, and more information on the injury may be released today. Tight end Pat Freiermuth, cornerbacks Joey Porter Jr., Cory Trice and Donte Kent, wide receiver Calvin Austin III, defensive tackle Esezi Otomewo and offensive tackle Calvin Anderson sat out of practice yesterday. Several others who took Saturday off, including starting QB Aaron Rodgers, were in action on Sunday. The Steelers open pre-season play this Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
