Moving up to the big leagues, the Pirates had what looked to be an insurmountable lead against the worst team in the league, but the Rockies clawed their way back to win in the bottom of the 9th. Joe Block has more on the wild night at Coors Field.
The Pirates and Rockies play again this afternoon, with Paul Skenes on the mound for the Bucs. Skenes is 6-8 with a 1.83 ERA. Austin Gomber will start for the Rockies. He is winless this season against five losses with a 6.28 ERA. Air time is 2:45 on WCCS.
