A man arrested for stalking is due in court today for a preliminary hearing.
Court documents show 30-year-old Richard Torres Santiago is due before District Judge Robert Bell Sr. today for the hearing on charges related to an incident on May 27th. On that day, Blairsville Borough Police said he pulled his car directly in front of the two victims, Kesha Webb of Indiana and Kelsey Shank of Blairsville, who were parked along North Spring Street. He allegedly got out of the vehicle, approached the two and confronted Webb, who was in the driver’s seat, by yelling at her through a closed window. Police said he assaulted Webb in the same manner a week prior to that incident.
Along with stalking, Santiago was charged with false imprisonment, harassment, obstruction of highways and driving on a suspended license.
