The strong thunderstorms that rolled through the area forced an early end to Steelers training camp on day two yesterday, after only about 85 minutes of workouts.
Coach Mike Tomlin said that he wanted to simulate the start-stop atmosphere of weather delays, citing what happened October 6th when the Steelers-Cowboys game was stopped for about 90 minutes, but the weather did not cooperate. No players were injured in the abbreviated session, and the team is expected to take the field again today, weather permitting.
Practice begins at 1:55.
