Altoona lost its second straight game to Chesapeake yesterday, 6-3. Aaron McKeithan and Nick Cimillo both homered for the Curve.
Curve starter Allesandro Ercolani retired the first seven Baysox hitters, but Chesapeake stacked two walks and four hits together in the third inning to take a 4-0 lead. They led 5-0 when the Curve finally broke through with McKeithan’s two-run home run in the sixth, and Cimillo hit his blast in the ninth.
The Pirates’ rehabbing Johan Oviedo will start for the Curve tonight.
