This weekend is the Pennsylvania Junior Legion Region 7 tournament, which will be hosted by the Homer City Area Athletic Booster Club at First Commonwealth Field in Homer City. The format this year is a four-team double-elimination tournament, with three games scheduled for tomorrow. Game 1 tomorrow will feature Indiana county champion S.W. Jack taking on Young Township at 1:30. At 4:30, Westmoreland County Champion Bushy Run takes on Indiana County playoff runner-up Armstrong. At 7:30, the losers from those two games will move on to an elimination game.
Sunday will feature two games to determine the champions at 4:30 and 7:30 PM. Monday will be the championship round with the first game at 5:30. The winner will move on to the state tournament.
