The Altoona Curve’s losing streak is now up to four games after their 3-0 loss to the Binghampton Rumble Ponies last night.
Pitcher Allesandro Ercolani had five scoreless innings for the Curve, allowing only four base runners and striking out three on 60 pitches. But reliever Justin Meis gave up a solo homer by Binghampton’s Carson Benge. Ryan Harbin’s scoreless streak came to an end at 22 and 1/3rds innings as he was touched up for a run in his part of the relief effort.
The two teams meet again tonight. Antwone Kelly will start for Altoona, while the Rumble Ponies will send RJ. Gordon.
